DON'T MIST OUT!

Over the years beauty companies flood us with new innovative products. One of the best ones that we are so gratefully introduced to is facial mist. I will say this with confidence that everyone needs this in their life! At first, a lot of people including me thought that this is definitely just a gimmick to waste our money on. But one day during my time abroad, the cold winter got my skin super dehydrated. This is very unlikely for someone who has an oily skin like me, so i didn’t have much experience with it. This is when I tried facial mist for the first time. And God oh God.... this thing is my savior! (other than drinking lots of water and a super thick moisturizer of course). It’s not only hydrating and refreshing, it also adds radiance and keeps my makeup looking “natural”.

When I came back home, I didn’t use my facial mist that often, because I thought it’s only great when my skin is dry. But one day, I gave it a try and I cant leave without it until this very day. Of course you need to find one that suits your skin, because there are lots of varieties out there. I have rounded up my top 5 facial mists that i have tried so far. I hope it helps you choose the one that fits you best.

MORE PRICEY OPTIONS:

Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist

You want dewy, healthy looking skin? Try this one. It’s a little pricey, but packaging is on point and boy oh boy.. you will be in a whole different world. Even though my skin is oily, I still use this sometimes. I cant help it, it’s beautiful!! The formula on this one is pretty different than others i feel like, its thicker and it feels more sticky, but in a good way. It is perfect on your ‘no-makeup-days’  for those, who already has a beautiful skin. It will make your face look healthy, fresh, and just gorgeous!

Caudalie Beauty Elexir

This beauty elixir is inspired by Queen Isabelle of Hungary. It tightens pores, leaving you with a burst of radiance. After applying it to your face, it will make your skin tingle for a few seconds. Keep in mind that it hurts when it gets in your eye and if your skin is very sensitive. Be aware as the mint could be too much.

Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist

This Rosewater Balancing Mist is probably my favorite mist so far. It’s not hard to see why it’s so popular. It’s a refreshing mist that utilises some pretty bomb ingredients to hydrate and soften your skin and its really gentle for sensitive skin. I dont know what kinda magic thats in it but it creates a  dewy and rosy fresh looking skin!

Another good one: Tata harpers Flower Essence, Kora Organics Rose Balancing Mist or Calming Lavender Mist

MORE AFFORDABLE OPTIONS:

Mario Badescu Facial Spray with aloe, herbs, and rosewater

This is an affordable, light, refreshing facial mist that contains rosewater and herbs. It has a rose fragrance that I love. I like to use this to prep my skin before makeup or just to spritz it to add a light hydration and refreshment to the skin

Avene Thermal Water

Avene Thermal Spring Water is essentially just a PH balanced water. So it’s supposed to restore the skin’s natural balance. They contain minerals, silicates, and other elements that soothe sensitive skin and calm inflammation. I like to put this in the fridge and then spray it whenever I need extra hydration and refreshment. This is a super multipurpose water that you can literally use whenever and for whatever reason. Love this stuff!

Till next time,

XOXO
